hello readers, a long line of events has been happening in my life.which probably stole most of my blogging time. Then again, I'm still trying find a right balance, for my studies, social and extra curriculum life.
on a cheery note, last night, I attended Nuffnang sharing session at Frames, Sunway pyramid.

I'm actually overjoyed to be one of the selected guest for this event. Reason, only 20 out of 200 bloggers were selected to attend. It was a fulfilling night, where all of us got to catch up and it was so much fun.

we went to watch the adjustment bureau in the cinema today after college. overall, i think its a good movie even though it has a predictable ending. find that the storyline is quite original and creative. worth the watch :D

the food is okay, i would highly recommend the baked spinach in cream and cheese (4th pic in the slide). business is relatively good. but Center point itself is quite dead. after dinner we went shopping. bought two new outfits D: which i later on regretted because i discovered i have something similar already.

its small and cute with some cool functions. now i can flip my phone to silent my alarm or calls, spin it to shuffle songs, shake it to change songs and check messages etc

anyways I've just used my Sony ericsson w995 for 7 months and i changed phone again. still looks relatively new right?

but i think its better to change to nokia cause i find sony ericsson phones rather faulty though they look nice.

watched 5 movies this week D:
The movies i watched includes : i am number four, drive angry, black swan, the mechanic, & burlesque.

i would say my favorite is 'i am number four'!! the guy is really hot even tho the story line is fictional . overall, i liked the movie. black swan is quite exhilarating..its about this psychotic girl with split personality. burlesque is not bad..but there was too much singing and dancing. :/
the mechanic and drive angry was just okay for me..typical action movie.

a friend invited me to her church (PJGH) yesterday for a post valentines day event (Crystal Night) where all the youth gathered and socialize. there was a lot of activities and games planned for us. and i find it pretty fun. we also had a short worship and talk about what love and friendship means to us.

later on we got into random pairs and dance :D

just got back to college after 10 days of cny hols!
basically, my friends and I decided to have a lunch gathering.
so off we went to Decanter @ Damansara heights and neo was the driver! we all squeezed into her MPV :P
we all had a great time chatting and catching up over lunch time.

Happy CNY ppl ! anyways I'm back to Kuching for my CNY hols to spend it with my family and friends here. didn't take any pics as i was too busy the whole while and i had left my camera in KL.
Overall, i had an enjoyable time here. eating and visiting. but i grow older i realized that i don't look forward to cny that much anymore, compared to childhood days. :S
and i also realize that I'm receiving less ang pao this year D: i shouldn't complain especially when the amount stuffed inside this red packets do get bigger. heh :)

the food is quite good (recommended!). but they serve per portion/person for some of the dishes. so it can be pricey depending on what you order. one thing about this restaurant is that they have very attractive menu (as you can see from the slide) which would definitely influence your choice when ordering :P

guess what? A marvelous range of ice cream is in town...The brand new magnolia sherbert! click here for the list of outlets you can find these divine ice-creams :) It comes in four tropical flavours..melon, mangosteen, lychee and orange.

I've tried all the flavors and its hard for me to decide objectively which flavor I like best, especially cause all of it is so mouth watering! having a sweet tooth, i seized the chance to taste the line of flavors offered by my much loved ice-cream. Honestly, its so difficult to make comparisons as they are all so fragrant, sweet and juicy. I felt that choosing one would feel like a betrayal to the other flavors and this has placed me in such a hard disposition :(

At last, my heart told me that, mangosteen is my favorite flavour! followed by the delicate lychee of course!

To be fair to the other flavors, i feel the need to explain why i favor mangosteen :) To illustrate this, i will need the aid of some pictures to project my taste test experience. lets begin with melon...

thumbs up for the mangosteen flavored one :D its definitely the best. There's a mystery to the taste of this exotic, purple fruit which i can't properly describe in writing. One thing is for sure, mangosteen sherbet makes me rosy with smiles after eating it.

My heart tells me that my love for it born from reasoning such as... the creamy yet juicy plus refreshing taste of the mangosteen in this ice cream. Also, its probably cause this outrageously yummy flavor, is still new to my taste buds. where, its actually my first time eating a mangosteen flavored ice cream. so it definitely feels like love at first bite!
Most of you will probably agree with me that ice cream is one of the best comfort food ever. It has always been ice-cream loyally following us since childhood days, teaching us the art of sharing at a young age with one another, and through the tears and joys live has mapped out for us :') I felt like a happy camper after devouring all the flavors offered by the magnolia sherbet line :P

plus, after tasting this sherbert...you'll understand the difference between sherberts and other full-diary cream . sherberts are basically frozen dessert made primarily of fruit juice and sugar, but also containing a bit of milk . therefore, it has a lighter texture compared to regular ice creams. on the other hand, you also get this fruity, juicy and yet milky taste. its actually hard to explain it literally :D Further, the taste feels incredibly refreshing and you'll also find real fruit chunks wholesomely packed in these adorable 85ml cups (spoon provided too!).. one small cup is surprisingly enough to satisfy your sugary cravings. Also, it makes you feel less guilty when indulging, because it isn't that rich or thick. Hence, less calories equals to less fattening :)

hello there!
I've been back to kuching my hometown for about two weeks now ( for my December holidays). :D Everything here has been the exact same painted pictures i have brushed up in my memories. Jotting down the sequels of events, these two weeks consist of quality times with my family and going out with some of my closest friends, whom I've missed.
(haven't seen them for quite a while )

here are a few pictures to briefly summarize :

didn't managed to take pictures with everyone though :C Glad I was able to squeeze in more shopping in Kuching. though I've already shopped quite a fair bit back in KL. Also, i went to catch four movies this week.. Gullivers Travel, Paranormal Activity, The Tourist & The season of the Witch..(thumbs down to the first two movies). oh yeah, i got a haircut too. as you can see from the picture below , there isn't much difference except with the shorter fringe. well, haircuts normally look similar right? unless you decide to go with something totally different.

anyways, I'll be going back to KL tomorrow as college is starting soon. Hope I'll breeze through the last semester :/ and keep up with blogging. that's all for now!

If I Were the Green Hornet...

If I were the green hornet,I would gather an entourage of trustworthy experts to assist me because it will be more wise than working alone. I've always believed that two heads are better than one. However, i will opt to be the leader of this life saving group. I know that we only lived life once. For that reason, i hope that my act of bravery will bring out the nobility in others to do the same heroic act as well. Further, i would carefully select these experts not only based on their level of intelligence, but most importantly on how willing they are to fight for the causes of humanity. As this is a very confidential matter, only those that can be trusted will be allowed to join my entourage. Therefore, i will take time to read their character, previous records and daily lives before having them inside this secret mission.

step 1 of plan : -gear up-
experts such as mechanical, electrical and automotive engineers would solve the complexities of the problems, and come out with advanced gadgets, cars and weapons to aid in the mission later on. since safety is a priority, all the equipments and weapons should be constantly checked and advanced to mitigate the dangers that my secret agents and i would faced in this mission.

step 2 of plan: -analysis -
We will also observe the records of those in the wanted list, their behavior, background and distinctive characteristics with the help of our group of criminology psychologist. This would help us delve into their minds and calculate their thoughts before they take the next steps. In spite of this, I'm aware that it is possible for ex convicts to turn over a new leaf. Also, some of the most dangerous wrongdoers actually stands from the most unexpected 'regular' citizens. Bearing this in mind, we will be cautious with our plans before implementing it.

step 3 of plan: - to blend in as one of them-
we will set up spies training program where only the fittest will be selected. After they've accomplished their training, these group of spies will chameleon their way into the supermafia gang. whereby we will find ways to snake into their activities and to earn their trust towards these spies that I've sent. This has to be done in the most discreet manner in order not to arouse suspicions. Only then, we can dig out more evidence regarding the mafias illegal activities, map out their hideout places and be rid of them.

step 4 of plan: -the attack-
then one day when we are all fully prepared.....
BOOM! I will lead the brave spirited troops to ambush the wrongdoers hideout and catch them, be it dead or alive.

last step: -the finale-
throw them behind bars. As for the crime bosses, they should get a taste of the electric chairs. For the righteous will be upheld and the evil doers will be punished. yay!

so yeah. that's basically what i would do if i were the green hornet in order to wipe out crimes.

Just came back from the airport to send my sister off peeps. whereby,my sis is leaving again to Queensland for her final year in law. i'll definitely miss this dainty sister of mine. especially, the fun times we had from talking till late night in the living room upstairs. we've always shared a close bond and i'll miss her kind spirit. praying for her a safe journey and can't wait to see her again in June :)

the recommended dish would be their crispy pekking duck skin (also their signature) wrapped in hot popia skin, spring onions and their special duck sauce. its really good (better than most of the pekking duck skin i've eaten else where and probably the reason why we chose to eat here today-grandmom likes the duck). anyways, its only limited to five pekking duck a day. so if you wish to try it, you should call to make a reservation for that dish earlier to avoid disappointment ;)

hello readers, its the beginning of a new year again. Well, its time to frame up all the past memories in this blog. Perhaps one day, when i'm old i'll be visiting my blog and smiling in amusement when i read the book of events that the younger me has jotted down.

i'll be making short new resolutions and hopefully i'll be able to follow it.

1.i'll need to swallow up, physics, chemistry, pure maths and biology.

2. graduate A-levels.

3.Pick up a degree that suits me most.

4. hop into a plane and travel to more countries.

5.to love and be loved by my family and friends.

6. learn a new skill, be it something as simple as games to an adventurous approach of art.

alright, that's all.

Thank you God for your unending grace, that has protected my family and i for year 2010. I'll leave year 2011 in the hands of God. Amen.

Merry xmas everyone! i remembered the midnight before Christmas, felt very excited about the next day. After all these years, Christmas is still my most loved occasion. Recently, i read a good Polish poem, and fell in love with the quote "such certainty is beautiful but uncertainty is more beautiful still." This quote really reflects the colors of my thoughts at the moment :)

anyways, before i came back to kuching, my cutest sis who just came back from aus flew over to KL to visit me :) i went to the airport to pick her up.where, i drove her around town, we went to Curve, Sunway, Midvalley, OneU and so on. Whereby, we did so much shopping together and chatted about almost everything under the sun. haha. its been a long time since i last saw her :S

we threw a birthday surprise today for our biology lecturer, but i think she wasn't that surprised because it was the fourth cake she received that day D: sadly, we didn't know that she was lactose intolerant and we bought her a cheesecake :S so she could only eat the base of the cake.

This year we had our prom held at double tree, Hilton Hotel. Rach came over at around 5pm and i helped her curled her hair.

if you're wondering where i got my dress from, it belongs to my sister. she bought it from Aus, and she doesn't wear it. It cost around RM1000+ :l

The appetizer and dessert was okay, but the main course- chicken and mash potato wasn't that good because the chicken was too dry :l

there were heaps of performance and Oscar trophies were awarded to nominated students that night. such as, those who are high achievers and comedians.

hi readers, its been eons since i've last blogged. I've been through a very busy year and time has been ticking extra fast. Now that i'm having my holidays there is finally time to write here. Then again, i'm not sure if i'll have time to update once college starts. A brief update on how 2010 has been for me. I'm currently taking Cambridge A levels in Science at Taylors College, Sri Hartamas campus.

sorry for the late update. my laptop has been under repair and i just got it back a couple of days ago. have no idea why my lappie is faulty even tho its still new. =C
anyways, this is going to be a wordy post cus ive been lazy to take pics so i'll just cut it short and talk about the latest issue. well, ive just got my spm results not long ago and got pretty okay grades. spent the next few days at education fairs and got back tonnes of brochures about colleges and where to study. look at how messed up my room is thanks to all these education brochures =S

since i havent decided on the course that i wanna do yet so im planning to take A-levels first . For A levels, i've the choice of doing it either in UK or in m'sia first since theres no A levels in aus. So i went to get some info on the colleges in UK and was pretty convinced. I even agreed to follow a good fren of mine (mervyn) to UK during the next intake. but then i suddenly realise that there was a bigger problem... which is i'm selected for PLKN (second batch) which starts on the 28th of march at negeri sembilan =S . Since i have no history of any medical problems, the only way for me to defer PLKN is to sumbit a letter of registration and acceptance to a college before the day i hafto report myself at the PLKN camp. And in order to get the letter i'l have to register and pay at least one semesters school fee. That's not the issue, the main point is that ALL the colleges in UK only starts in september (they only have jan & sept intakes). instantly felt crushed, lol. no joke. So i spent the next few days looking around for colleges with march intake for A levels. And i only found one, only one..which is taylors college. all the other colleges only starts their intake in may or june. well at least taylors is a decent school and quite a number of my ex classmates and schmates are there. took me a few days to think about it and i finally agreed in order to save myself from khidmat negara (ahh..why am i so unlucky?? i heard next yr onwards plkn is 6 months, not sure if ive got the info right. sigh. im only safe for now). guess for the time being i'll have no choice but to put all my initial plans behind and only think about them after my pre-u. =( so yeah, ive already registered for the school and leaving kch this thursday. (sch starts on Mon). going earlier to do some shopping. =D

well lets not dwell on this topic anymore.

valentines day & Cny

since cny is over i'll just write a short post.

Lately, i've been relatively lazy to update my stagnant blog. Well, during chinese new year it was celebrated in the usual manner. Such as, visiting relatives and friends. Suffice to say, new year is all about eating, gatherings, reunion and ang paos.

This year's valentine's day was incredibly sweet. i was so surprised when SOMEONE called me up to ask me to go stand at my balcony. Obviously, i assumed that it was fireworks as it is chinese new year.

Instead, i saw candles lit in heart shape outside my house compound :)

and he brought wine and two wine glasses filled with ice to my house.

Notably, i found a the present when i was drinking .it is a beautiful couple necklace. apparently he froze the necklace in one of the ice cubes.

definitely one of those melting moments :')

hello readers :) sorry for taking such a long time to update my blog because ive been busy running errands. since theres so much happening, i cant possibly note everything down on this blog..so i'll just be short.

i noticed something when i was at the airport..it was really crowded! i think lots of people are taking advantage of the cny hols to go for a vacation. lol

heres a pic of my sis checking in her luggage at the counter. She only brought two medium-size bags to prevent getting charged for checking in overweight luggage (fyi, the maximum weight is about 25kg) . And guess what? her bags were still overweight by about 10 kg.. the penalty would've been to pay Rm770! its pretty costly to check in overweight luggages especially if you're flying overseas.

since the part time maid is away i've been helping out around the house for a few days. lol. dad hired a few workers to clean the compound of my house and do some gardening while my mum did most of the chores in the house.

much needed vacation :)

i'm a little bit over-due on this post. unfortunately, this few days has been insanely packed with appointments.

well, last week i got the opportunity to go for a much needed shopping vacation (4 days in KL & 3 days in penang).Upon arriving at KLIA, Hugh came to pick us up with his x-trail. subsequently,we headed to The Gardens Hotel which was conveniently located inside the Garden Mall and near midvalley mega mall and so forth.

it felt so good to be able to do compulsive shopping and not worrying about the price tag.

we gobbled up most of our food, where we opted for buffet almost everyday during our stay in kl.

we were invited to visit Nottingham University and had a nice walk around the spacious compound.

surprisingly, i enjoyed Penang more than kl. Perhaps, its the seriously scrumptious food that delights my tummy. i've always heard about how delicious penang food is, but it never crossed as something more than a rumor. However, after my trip i'm actually excited to share the eateries here :p

i remembered being anxious to have a second bowl of har mee/prawn noodle during my trip. so, do try it out :)

this is the place where we ate the unforgettable hokkien fried mee which uses duck eggs instead of chicken egg, located at lebuh melayu.

In one of the mornings, we headed to Ipoh which is only a 1.5 hour drive from Penang to eat breakfast. :)

Our penang friends brought us to Gurney Plaza, Queensbay Mall, Prangin Mall, Island Plaza and One-stop shopping centre. we felt very content after spending so much on our newly bought goodies.

On top of Penang Hill, the climate was so cool and refreshing. There was also bird park and flower garden here.

later on, our friends brought us to one of the temple nearby for sightseeing. we regretted not visiting snake temple instead. Apparently, this particular temple is the sanctuary for pit vipers. Meaning, there are numerous venomous snakes that can be seen, coiled around the pillars and are perceived as harmless due to the smoke of burning incense. i will definitely want to visit snake temple instead, during our next trip.

much of penang's charm is found in the calm warm sea that surrounds the whole place, took this during the journey back to the hotel.

a dining place that i totally lovee. Do visit the ship restaurant located at Batu Ferringi beach as it serves such mouth watering food. feeling hungry as i'm typing this.

to wrap up, i'm glad to meet new friends during this trip. Let us always stay in touch and i'm also grateful for the lovely people who made this holiday a memorable one. after writing this, i feel less disheartened that our initial plan to go Dubai got cancelled. :')

on friday night, we held a surprise farewell gathering for Jon, at Serena's place. i supposed everyone enjoyed themselves and the food was scrumptious. whereby, everyone contributed a pot of dish for us to share. Basically, we ate, and chatted with each other under the cozy environment.

in fact, i've always liked taking candid pictures of my friends, because it captures in detail the portrait of what everyone is naturally doing at that time. photos are very momentous indeed, when it comes to friendship :')

since, Jon's leaving to Taylor soon ish, i do hope he will enjoy himself there. Of course, i pray that he will prosper in terms of studies, health and webbing himself with more good friends in kl :')

when everyone left, the four siblings watched dvds and we talked the whole night. it was a fun sleepover, and we woke up the next day to prepare a hearty breakfast consisting of ham, cheese, toast and egg omelet. Later, we went for a swim at her pool. its always nice to have the pool all for ourselves. By the time we walked back to serena's house to shower, we were hungry again. so, i whipped a dish of lamb chop for the four of us to eat.

on a side note, i'll be officially on a hiatus. so, i may not update my blog temporarily.

I'll be boarding the plane tomorrow, going for a shopping vacation with my sister. so, i'll write after the trip.

2010 resolution

happy new year readers! :)

I do hope this new year would be a start of a fresh beginning to keep striving for what we've set our heart on pursuing. Although, the journey may not be a breeze, disheartening at times, physically demanding or even sacrificial. But i'll remember to turn on to God who is forever faithful, my kind family and true friends who are always there for me :)

Even though i've never taken resolutions seriously, but i find it encouraging to always make one at the start of the year.

1) Always make a point to help out or do a bit of charity.

I've always have a soft spot for dogs, especially the stray ones that really needs shelter. Whenever, i read about animal abuse, it upsets me that there's so many unwanted animals or abandoned ones. Not all animals are as lucky as those home pets where many stray pets are struggling to survive on the cold cruel streets. I hope to be able to consistently give monetary donation to our SSPCA and help more four legged homeless animals.

2) Be a more available person.

i should learn more to be a giver instead of a taker.

3) Be less fickle-minded

those who know me in person would definitely agree that i'm constantly changing my mind. so, i'm determined to change this little habit and stick to one option at a time. i've got so many choices laid down by my parents as to what i want to do for my foundation year and places to head off. so, its crucial for me to take the most suitable route in terms of education. Like many, i expect my future to be a rosy one.

Well, these three are the more serious self-check resolutions that i'll have to remember by heart. The rest are the more fun ones which i've already planned out in my head :p

To divert,someone special is going to be here soon, though many already know, but i still want to put it in writing here by painting a picture of what's happening. to describe a little, the guest room is tidied personally, little details like towels,toiletries are all placed neatly,room smells like vanilla cream and flowers.silk comforters are taken out fm upper cupboard all set for pre-arrival. usually, i don't document about personal matter that doesn't concern me, but i do feel happy for this favorite couple i know.

finally, went spring today and bought a few blouses,skirt and shorts from mango. bought a bit only as i don't want to over spend.

As for tomorrow, we'll be meeting relatives fm melbourne for lunch and most probably going to the library. i can already hear the rustic sound of pages as i flip those books tmr.

Last night, i got invited to Serena's brothers bbq at their house. Where, we sat around the swimming pool dipping our feet into the water and chatted about almost everything. It was so relaxing, with nice companions and good food.

During 1510, the first decorated christmas tree is in Latvia. This is where early, Christmas trees are decorated with paper,fruits and sweets. Then again, i can't possibly use real candies to decorate my small xmas tree.To me,the family-Christmas tie, ancient rhythms of the year have all became bound up in one shiny wrapped package :) i cannot wait for the opening of presents this year.

finally out of prison ! =D

I've been feeling like a kid all over again lately. Maybe its the awesome aftermath of finishing high school. where, there's no more home work commitments and mental exertion to endure. Basically, I have been going out almost everyday. Nothing special, just the usual movies and eating outings with friends. On a cheery note, my bestie Siew yee who just came back from Perth and Mervyn accompanied me to this place called Secret Sanctuary,yesterday.

last night, my family and i walked over to my neighbour's house which is only two houses away from mine, for their house warming. suffice to say, i really liked their architectural concept for the bungalow and the interior is so incredibly nice too.

Graduation

the year has come to an end, and its time for us to bid farewell. Often, i dream of childhood memories being spent in noisy classrooms, sharing our home packed biscuits or chatting about whatever topics that satisfies our short lived interest. so, after 14 years of being in Lodge, i will definitely miss schooling moments.

this is our class t-shirt, i really liked the design but the green ish color is not what i would've chosen. then again, the comic drawings really paint our faces so similar to our actual face features. :p

New SPM grading system (2009 onwards)

Days ago, the education department sent a letter to my school concerning the change of SPM grading system starting from this year onwards. OMG. why did they only tell us now?? its 2 months before spm.

so this is it:

A+ (90% and above)

A (80% and above)

A-

B+

C+

Well, in a way this system is indeed a very good idea as it sets a higher standard for us students and encourages us to study harder as "A1" or now known as "A" is not good enough as there is a higher grade which is "A+". Besides that, it also sets a higher standard and proficiency for the Malaysian Education System. Furthermore, it also makes it easier to separate students who are fairly good to those who are excellent in their studies.

However, I completely disagree with the idea of implementing this new grading system for students taking SPM this year. It is way too near our SPM. The education ministry should have informed us at the beginning of the year if they want to implement this new grading system for us. It is impossible for us students to be able to get higher grades in such a short notice. Even though the marking system and the examination format still remains the same, students who used to get 80 and above for their subjects must now try and get 90 and above in order to get an "A+" with only less than 2 months left for us. That is totally unfair to us and it is too late for us to adapt to this new grading system. It seems like our batch are like 'guinea pigs'. (just to test if the system works) . *sighs

yesterday afternoon, i went over to Benjamin's house for lunch. Most of the food were catered from Sarawak Club and a few were cooked by his mom. twas a scrumptious meal :p

celebrating the journey of my 17th year

yesterday,the day started with being greeted by friend's bday wishes and classmates who sang a bday song for me. The plan was to go school for half day and off to PBK exams. Kenneth sent me an oddly cool bday 'present' which was an video haircut track, a present which i'm excited to share.

Leaving the exam room at 7-ish, after 5 hours of mental exertion, we headed to the Banquet for dinner. Initially, my parents asked me if i wanted to throw a bday bash, but i figured that since its around 1 more month to SPM most friends would probably be busy with their revision.

the rain was pouring heavily and it was so chilly. thus, i put on my grey jacket to brave the cold night.

me devouring my utmost favourite baked lamb with their special sauce.

In between sips of Long Jing tea in those small tea cups, we talked about heart warming topics and plenty of lame jokes.

by the time i reached home, there was a special delivery. in fact, i really want to express a million thanks to those who bothered to deliver presents to my house since days ago and of course the one who stood under the rain outside my gate :(

mooncake festival 09'

yesterday, mum's close friend invited my family over her house for dinner to celebrate this year's mid autumn festival.

as you can see, she prepared steamboat for us. the fresh abalone broth soup was so good :)

after dinner, we headed to friendship park for a walk. there was a traffic jam at jln song because of the massive group of people heading there.

some even brought their own portable 'picnic' table, unpacked their food, and act as if they were dining at a restaurant. how adorable. lol

bumped into some friends, lodgian school mates & ex-lodgian frens.

As i was helping some kids to light up their lantern, i remember being once like them during my childhood days. Full of spirits and excited to march around with a colorful lantern. Later on, i met

up with jasper. Met Adrien too, and we had this funny conversation.

by the time i reached home, it was around 11pm.

The family was already sitting around my fishpond eating up the assorted slice mooncakes. It was a full moon that night.

On wednesday night, my dad suggested that we have a quiet dinner at San Francisco Grill. Normally, he would treat his friends for dinner, but this year most of them are away on Raya vacation. We booked a table for the family.

garlic bread, oyster n cream soup, oxtail soup and mushroom soup as starters.

main dishes- black pepper steak, lamb chop, parmesan lamb cutlet & lamb shank .

overall, the meal was satisfying.

Yesterday, i went to Spring in search for my dad's b'day present. However, didn't manage to find anything suitable because he already has most of the things that he needs. Thus, i came up with the idea of baking him a cheesecake and bought the ingredients.

Started my day by visiting our family lawyer's house. There were heaps of food prepared and it was sinfully delicious. Apparently, they took eight hours to prepare the eatery for today's open house.

Later on, we went to get a few things. Mom bought my sis and i, matching diamond earrings. very shiny :) they gave each of us a black privilege card.

Uber happy that the last paper of my trial exams is postponed temporarily due to Raya holidays.

spend my nights watching korean dramas in my room, which is totally enjoyable. i'm currently on cloud nine mood. :D that's all for now, off to Starbucks.

an impromptu outing with the family. Dragged myself out from bed, speedily got ready for breakfast. Headed to Imperial Duck for dim sum. Dad suggested that we drop by Town for shopping which we did, afterwards we went Spring for more shopping and finally Green Gallery.

we opted to have lunch at Manhattan Fish Market, ordered way too much food, considering the portion that they provide. we forgot that certain platters were strictly for 'sharing'.

by the time, we got home it was getting dark. me, as usual left behind to carry all the goods purchased. :'(

It has been eons since i've last updated. there's always so much homework to be tackled, as if a routine of endless labour, physical exertion and mental too.*laughs*On a happy note, i'm composing a post of an prolific and relatively fun school function! In short, interact night is sort of a prom for Lodge students, conducted practically every year in different location, ofcourse.

Well, it took place last saturday,on the 8th at Merdeka Palace Hotel ballroom materializing from 7pm till midnight.

Since the theme for this year's dress code is striking colours, I wore a wine red dress :)

Anyways,friends including sister and i went to watch harry potter and the half blood prince last night. It was the premier night. got free tickets. in my opinion, this movie was quite good and humorous. sadly, dumbledore died :'( well, its a must watch and the storyline was incredibly nice. will be dropping by the bookstore for this book to delve into!

after the movie, we decided to have a drink at James Brooke Bistro located in waterfront. the guys footed the bill ofcourse. haha.

the chocolate drink which i ordered was so concentrated.whereby,the cocoa powder was so thick it tasted rather bitter. overall it was alright. :)

someone has been in high spirits! *chuckles. that particular someone would be my father who managed to purchase Shiro Bekko and Utsuri Japanese Koi fish. :) it cost an exact rm2000 for each. Its around(20cm) per koi fish. whereby,this fully imported koi fishes' mother had once won a championship. meaning, the koi fish my dad purchased are of good, pure breed. Now, my other japanese koi fish will have new friends to swim around with. LOL

Spring-Candid pic of mom being relatively bored, while waiting for sis to choose what she wanted to have. (a random stranger came up to ask my mom why is she so fair with such a lovely disposition, in mandarin) : to whoever u are mom said 'thanks'. :)

My dad, left to KL with a few friends with the mission of buying more japanese koi fish to add into our fishpond. For that reason, mom was eager to bring the two siblings out. since she was feeling generous. thus,she brought sis and i for retail therapy! meaning, we get to splurge on items that we wanted without calculating the price tag. *grins. i didn't buy anything, except for a bottle of shampoo. Mainly cause i was accompanying siew yee in Spring. among the items my sister bought was a casual tee, a playboy pink jacket which was ridiculously pricey. its rm200+for one small jacket. for some unknown reasons, she seems to have jacket fetish. i think she has collected a range of 20-30 jackets in her gigantic closet! *unbelievable.

Then my mom bought the yves saint laurent fragrance set, so that sis and i could share it. i love the scent which is somewhat neutral and not too strong. :) too bad i didnt manage to buy anything from charles and keith despite the mega sales. :'( this shiny sandal below belongs to the sister. mom decided that she needed more cosmetic, so she purchased the estee lauder signature, hydra lustre lipstick. this particular shade, (60 sunset coral) may be discontinued forever. so hurry up and buy it cause its only rm75. another good deal, was the discounted SACHS heels mom bought for herself. original price rm104, after discount rm 84. *laughs. i do sound like a sales promoter. =.=''

During the night, jasper treated me for fine dining in San Francisco Grill :) After that, we dropped by at 175 degrees resto in town whereby we met lots of lodgians and ex lodgians, followed by premier 101 to meet up with class boys for supper but they were late. So i ended up in friendship park before going home. yawns*

Taken with my gorgeous babe siew yee who just came back from WA perth :D . Since i was hungry, we headed to Cafe Majestic in Riverside Hotel for tea!

After that, i went to watch transformers and went to st joseph sch to join a prefect farewell dinner for awhile before heading home.

To wrap it up, tomorrow will be the start of grueling hours in school and piles of homework waiting to be done. can't wait to get over with SPM. if there was one person besides mom ofcourse, who could provide us with unconditional love that would be my dad. we've shared many happy moments, from watching cartoons such as swan princess, to endless sarcastic teasing, or the many holiday trips we've ventured. chewing on it, reminds me of how nice it is to just enjoy his presence minus the father daughter 'heart to heart talks' ofcourse. reason, this may lead to a long winded lecture. then again, the fact that he sends lunch to school, so that i can eat in the car every single day is already considered as one of those melting moments. for that reason, he'll always be a noble knight to both my sister and i. in fact, i'm grateful we can celebrate this momentous day as a family unit. :)

Sorry for not updating my blog lately. too much is happening and a tad too lil time to keep track.

Yesterday I met up with chung who just came back from perth for his holidays. it has been eons since we last met. We end up taking lunch at Four Points by Sheraton. surprisingly,though it happened to be a weekday.there were heaps of people having lunch there. chung kept insisting tht it was so much cheaper to dine here compared to overseas. btw, Chung generously Footed the bill, thx ! :)

We opted for the lunch buffet there:

Yipee, today is the last day of this semester, meaning that we will be having a two weeks school break. Finally, time to relax..but then again we have heaps of homework and when school reopen, exams will start.

School ended at 12.30 today so that the school staff will have more time to prepare for the school annual concert tomorrow (Lodge Musical Evening 09').

So in the evening, i went to spring with ling and edwin..hao tagged along.

We walked around spring aimlessly looking for something we could shop for. But unfortunately, there was nothing. Spring is..as boring and empty as usual, with nothing much to buy. The guys were least interested to join us shopping so they went for a drink in starbucks while waiting for us.

Ling found something to buy in MAC and MNG so i accompanied her. The main reason why i went out today is not for shopping but to accompany her because im worried about her. She seemed a lil down lately.

Since there was nothing to do we settled down at sushi king and talked. Ling shared with me about her problem with her bf while edwin and hao just fill me in with how they are recently and about their uni life considering the fact that i've not seen the both of them for a few months. After that , they accompanied me to buy chocolates at tai kiong. Have been craving.

After a few hours, i called mum to pick me up-was really tired. But she decided to drop by spring as well to buy something . She made me WAIT. Turns out she spent about 1k on two 'so called' high quality cooking pan from parkson. Ahh..mothers.

Rainbow. Lol. I just happened to see it on the way home.

Poolside barbeque

We headed towards Evonne's house for barbeque. i really liked her swimming pool. in fact, they are so lucky to have a pool all for themselves ! :) on a cheery note, i wore green that day. random mix and match, Cotton On green top and Witchery shorts.

Friends barbeque-ing while i 'supervise' *laughs. on a funny note, it took them ages to lit the fire. in consequence, one of evonne's relative came to help light the fire.

we brought over a variety of red meat to barbeque. such as, Lamb chop, sausages, pork, chix wings. its so mouth watering and we devoured soooo much food.

not forgetting, we baked carrots, tomatoes, broccoli, potatoes, French loaves with so much butter and mozzarella cheese for toppings. everyone ate heaps of it.

since, we were at evonne's crib. so there was no need for us to wear swim suits. instead, most of my friends wore shorts. i changed into my blue spaghetti strap. it was so hilarious, cause, everyone was pushing anyone near enough into the poool. *gasp. but its ok. LOL we enjoyed it very much. as a result, i had purple bruises on my thigh due to being pushed into the pool. nah, its just a small polka dotti bruise. no harm done :)

this is a very momentous pic! we were just swimming lazily and chatting about almost everything under the sun. the weather was kind, it was cloudy that day.

so about twenty of us, were crowding there and basically playing around, splashing water at each other.

when it ended, went home, showered, nap a little and Chemistry homework to tackle .

Teachers Day / Mufti day in sch

Today our sch celebrated teachers day & mufti day. Meaning we do not need to wear our school uniform (except for the prefects) and it is a day for us students and also the teachers to relax.

i remember, being somewhat excited to go fetch mom fm airport as i haven't seen her for half a month. ( quite long in fact)

*laughs. had my pic snapped while waiting for her outside the gate.

decided that we needed a drink after all the waiting. reason, mom's luggage was quite a handful,which explains the long strenuous waiting.

that would be my sister and mom, along with her luggage and boxes of goodies.

in fact, there's so much more things tht she bought. however, i cant seem to find space to put the pics here and doubt anyone would be interested in seeing it. on a cheery note, i made mulberry smoothie ! trust me, its delicious. just add the mulberry paste, fresh milk and blend with ice. really easy DIY, and refreshing. cause, i find the weather terribly hot lately.

among the items, she bought for my sis and i. the diamond Wish Choppard perfume, Coach handbag. plus, there's this white school bag too, but it aint for me.

this would be the american Gemlab certified stud diamond earrings she got for us.

some hair product in really cutee packaging . its a local Taiwanese brand. doubt,i will use it anytime soon. may indulge after im done with Add math project :S

Mommy will be coming back from Taiwan tonight..finally! sick of eating out . Going to the airport with family to fetch her. Probably gonna grab some chocs or famous amos cookies. She called home a few times when she was away and she said she had bought lots of stuff for us. Sounds great... seems like she had blast shopping away, and she appeared on tv too..im going to ask her how it happened. lol. She wanted to be back as soon as she could due to swine flu (H1N1) which is kinda serious at this stage. Hope she is lucky, rmbr what happened to the passengers at h.k the week before? all the passengers in that particular plane was quarantined in a hotel just because ONE person had fever. The swine flu is said to be at the fifth stage currently and suspected to reach the 6th stage/pandemic level (worldwide) soon. With more than 12 countries of different continents affected. Mexico is the worst. Hope m'sia wont get it *finger crossed*...

My mum just left for Taiwan this morning, she will be gone for 3 weeks with her frens. ahh =(

have to eat out every nite. the thought scares me. i'l probably get sick of eating out.

The gurls came to my house today..they wanted to do add math project... some work is done, but end up we did other stuff..lol. enjoy ourselfs.

Best part was the kimchi noodles i made for them..everyone was speechless after eating. nice but super spicy.

We wanted to walk around friendship park..but we didnt because it almost rained. Instead, we went to eat pizza at pizza hut. There was an offer ..three regular sized pizza for only RM35 =D worth it.

Then we bought some drinks at Starbucks..
I drank Caramel Macchiato. =D

Then we loitered aroud till nightime. lol. a bunch of bored kids.
